Immersing an audience in an environment many will never visit has made for some of the most memorable giant screen moments.

With that thought uppermost December Media partnered with Melbourne’s Swinburne University, a leader in scientific film production and high-end space visualizations, to produce three giant screen films – Hidden Universe 3D, Life In Space 3D and now The Story of Earth 3D.

Using extremely high resolution astronomical images from the University’s Centre for Astrophysics and Supercomputing, December Media has been able to create CGI images that were not interpretations, but real images.  Theatre audiences are wrapped in scientifically accurate, cutting-edge pictures that take them from earth all the way to the outer reaches of our universe.
